I couldn’t leave the mountain without getting another run in. Figured I’d start uphill this time.

Took a few minutes for my body to accept what was going on, but really started to enjoy it after about 10 minutes.

Not sure if those strides were intended to be uphill, but I enjoyed them too. I could definitely feel it in my chest after the third set. I walked on the last three 40sec rest sets.

By the turnaround I was pretty motivated, the sun was coming up and the surrounding snow covered mountains were breathtaking. 

After a handful of days of leg workouts, the soreness at the beginning of the week was the worst of it. Feeling really good today. 

Of course, I was at the hot tub after completing this run.
