    -2°, fun!
Another cold one, but that was exactly what I needed and wanted! The humidity in Denver is much different than the mountain altitude at Crested Butte last week. Only about a 2,000 ft difference, but this -2° felt more of a wet uncomfortable cold. However, I was motivated the entire run. My beard was icicles when I finished.
Yesterday I went in at 7:00 a.m. to cover a shift I had previously confirmed to. Those muscle relaxing meds made me absolutely useless. I felt like a freaking zombie all day long. It was miserable.
The nerve pain I had was classified as a strain at the VA. One of the possible causes was hormonal imbalance, and that stuck with me more than any of the others.
I feel like my life is pretty stress-free in nearly every aspect of it; except for the relationship I have with Raven.
We had a short conversation this morning and agreed that our relationship is no longer working. She packed her things and left her key; while I felt a massive wave of relief throughout my body.
She’s an absolutely amazing woman, and I have no doubt that we love each other. But, we are just not meant to be.
After having broke up on countless occasions in the last 2 years, I truly feel like this is the last. I wish nothing but the best for her and little Carson.
From start to finish, this run was great. My body felt strong the entire time, even in the unusually cold temperatures. Not even the slightest bit of discomfort in my left foot either. How weird is that?!
I do have a bit of soreness where the tightness was in my neck, but that was no factor for this run.
I ordered some of the arnica cream you mentioned, and also an ice pack designed for the foot. I’ll keep you updated on the progress with that.
I just crushed a French sandwich from Curtis Park deli while recovering legs in the Normatec pants. Feeling super positive about the remaining day. Looking forward to another day off tomorrow.
